Blackfeather Woods Orphaned

Kendra wondered where her father was. She hadn't seen him around or even smelled him, which was weird. His howls had gone quiet too. She figured he was busy with her new brothers. She was eager to meet them, but she was pretty sure she was not allowed close. She remember how protective her father was of her, always around. Now he was leaving her be, more like an adult. She technically was an adult it seemed.

The quirky girl howled for her father, requesting his presence because she missed him. She hoped also she could persuade him to have at least a peak at her little brothers. Though she was pretty sure he would relent. She sat down and waited for him to respond, but there was no response. She frowned. Kendra had missed the whole confrontation and the fact that her father was gone now. Maybe Burke was out on patrol and didn't hear her. That would probably be it!
