The man was almost unaware of what had happened around. He had been spending the past moons to himself, choosing to keep his hunting and patrolling a solo thing. There was not too much reason for this, Mikasi just wanted to keep to himself. He came to enjoy peace and quiet.
The wolf was glad the wilderness had reverted back to a normal state. The famine had been such a struggle for everyone, and frankly drove him insane. Thankfully now things were normal, or so he believed. Mikasi had yet to figure out Burke was gone or even have any acknowledgement of Malice's presence.

Although this wolf was a long-standing member of Blackfeather Woods, Cicero didn't know him very well. In fact, he didn't remember seeing him ever beside the occasional pass-by in the forest or at meetings. It was time to change that, for although Cicero was not the most outgoing of creatures, he was curious for his pack mates and it would be useful to know their worth; all of them.
So when he crossed paths with the wolf this time, instead of passing by with a nod of his head and walking on, he said: "What a remarkable day, is it not?" He did not ask this because he thought it was a remarkable day; he just wanted to see how the other would respond, for it would give him much information about him. A lot more than a 'good day, how are you', at least.

He stopped when the patchwork male offered a simple greeting. The two surely seen eachother before, but had never shared words and now was the perfect chance. "Ah, yes," he replied, "I'm thankful for it." With their wood back to normal, he felt relieved. At least now they could feel at ease with food supply.
"I don't believe we've met properly yet," he implied, "The name's Mikasi."

The wolf's reaction was somewhere in the middle of the scale of reactions Cicero expected. It told him relatively little, but he wondered why he was relatively cheerful about this day. Maybe it was just the general peace that had fallen over the Woods now that things were beginning to fall into this new natural order that he liked.
Cicero was given little extra time to think about it, for the other introduced himself, noting that they had seen each other but not talked much. He nodded and said, "Cicero." Then he wondered, "What sort of things does Mikasi dabble in?" He intended to find out what drove him, what was his passion; but also what specialty within the brotherhood he did or did not aspire. Essentially, it did not matter much in which direction Mikasi's answer was taken, for anything gave him information.
