Doe stayed silent through Laggy's words, agreeing in part, but also feeling as though she didn't quite understand. It wouldn't be arranged, per se - and Skellige was not a stranger. She didn't know him very well yet, but he meant something to the dusky shewolf. He was hope and safety in a lonely world; the generous soul that'd taken her on when it was more a burden than a boon. He'd praised her, honored her, even comforted her at times. Skellige had plucked her from the edge and nestled her safely at his side, and there, she'd regain herself.
Some of herself, anyway.
But at the end of the day, he would never be what she wanted. She'd be happy to serve him, greatful to be able to repay all that he'd done for her. But the thing she was most thankful for was Szymon, and the chance Skellige had given her to meet him.
"Yeah," she sighed, smiling tiredly at her friend. "Love."
