@Aspen, EJ's gonna try keeping the peace with the Queen XD

Eden's hard work had paid off. The tunnels were now her home, for she'd earned it (even though she's been trespassing for days). Her den was picked out, as well as a small area she'd chosen for a new cache. With the new rank and the new appearance - Eden swore she could see the bump if she looked hard enough - things should've been fine.
Keyword: should've.
Something in Eden felt off, as though she'd earned her life, but at a price. It felt as though there were too many frayed strings for the benefits to feel true. There was Sylvas, her mate, but she was confident that he would soon meet her in the Inner Circle as well. There was Heartha who she'd admittedly neglected in the past days, but "neglected" still meant daily check-ins and unsolicited tears. And there was the Queen who had no but to excuse their disagreement.
Knowing that the Queen wouldn't want to leave the side of her pups so soon, Eden managed her way near the entrance to Alder and Aspen's den, though dare not step in. Should Aspen cooperate and agree to a conversation, it would happen just like that. But if not, then Eden's exit would be much simpler than having to hop-skip-jump from the new mother's grasp.

Aspen was resting when the presence of a Wolf was felt at the entrance to her den. None other than Eden .  Aspen lifted her head and gave the female a warm smile. Seeming as the fae was now a member of the inner circle she saw no reason to be angry. this wolf just wanted to talk. Hey Aspen even needed someone to check on the pups anyways, make sure they were healthy. Now that their eyes were open she as slightly more accepting to the company of other wolves in the den.

"Hey Eden, How are  you? Dealt with any morning sickness lately?" she mused. Eden too was pregnant thankfully not by Alder. By a mate of her own Sylvas. Though the silver queen had yet to meet the illusive male. 

"You can come in if you want, company would be nice right now I will introduce you to the puppies," she said with a warm smile and a glance down at the little potatoes at her side.

Eden was taken aback by the Queen's change in heart. She'd actually been invited inside the den which was a notable accomplishment compared to their last encounter. You sure, m'lady?, she said but instead of awaiting a response, she took a few steps in and sat across from the small gathering. 
No, I think the worst of it is over, Eden laughed in response to the morning sickness remark. I would love to meet them, my Queen. They're beautiful. As she finished her statement, she choked back a tear, trying to keep face. Sure, the morning sickness and the dizziness had passed, but she would've taken that over her new emotions any day.

Absence nodded as the female took a few tentative steps forward. Aspen smiled when Eden stated that the worst of her morning sickness seemed to have passed. "That's good" she stated shifting herself into a better position. 

Aspen smiled wider as Eden told her how beautiful her children were. "That they are," she said warmly as she nosed one of them for a second.  

"The little white one is Rowan, The two red girls are Tigerlily and Rose respectively but they're hard to tell apart, and the larger dark furred one is Hawthorn," the silver mother said proudly.

Eden smiled and sniffled quietly. The tears were appearing once again; pregnancy hadn't been her forte thus far. Those names are beautiful, Aspen. Truly fit for such gorgeous children. Another sniffle. I can't wait to have this, you know? My children, my family, Eden laughed through the tears. She was excited, truly, but terrified nonetheless.

Aspens smiled widened as Eden complimented her choice of names for her children. "Thank you Eden," she spoke softly. Then aspen offered the female a nod when she spoke of her own children. "They truly are gifts, children. You can learn alot from them too, even as puppies," she stated glancing down and nosing one of the puppies into a better spot as she shifted herself. 

"You never know what you were missing out on until they finally get here, depite the struggles of getting them here," she let out a soft chuckle and  rubbed her face comfortingly into Eden's chest/shoulder. She noticed the female was crying though she was sure not out of sheer sadness. "You should be very proud to call yourself a mother soon Eden, Sylvas should be proud of both you and his soon to be children. You two will be great parents," she stated.

The Queen's praises did nothing to halt the tears, but rather did the opposite. For the sake of keeping face, Eden nodded out her thanks and made her way from the den, immediately taken over by hysterics. Yeah, she'd rather take childbirth than this any day.
