Tapat was an excited pupper. The pale boy was often found outside the den trying to explore new things. Only what his parents didn't seem to realize yet, or anyone from the pack that the pup wasn't really 100% alright. He suffered from short term memory loss. The pup himself didn't really realize this, after all he couldn't remember. What he could remember was his mother, father and brother and the den entrance. He knew their scents but as soon as his attention as grabbed by something and the den entrance would be out of sight the 6 week old pup would be lost.
This was exactly what happened now. He had been chasing windswept leaves and trying to jump on them, before he knew it Tapat was surrounded by a place he didn't know or remembered. He looked around, startled. "Maaaaaaaa," he called out. "Daaaaaaaa," he cried out louder. He ran into a random direction which only took him further away from the den it seemed.

He hung around the den lately, not so close as to alert Jhala, but close enough to see the children as they explored further and further from their home. They were older now, bigger, more able to see everything their land had to offer. Phares watched with interest as the pale sprite — the smaller of the two, he had come to realise — played with leaves just outside the den. It was only when he began to stray away did he then decide to intervene.
The priest's steps quickened at the sound of the boy's frightened cries, and he came to a halt before him with a friendly smile, hoping to stop him in his tracks. "Young one," he greeted, unsure if he understood the spoken word yet. He lowered himself and settled onto the ground so as not to frighten the pup further, hoping to spend a bit of time with the newest member of their church.

The priest was smart to intervene, because the pup wouldn't have stopped running until he was tired, probably carrying him further away from the den site even more. The pale boy hit the breaks when he saw another wolf. He did recognize the shape, and related it to that of his mother and father. Though this wolf wasn't one he had seen before, or had he? He wouldn't know. He looked up with big murky colored eyes. The calm tone made him relaxed, instantly it slipped from his mind that he was running or trying to find his mother and father.
The other male lowered himself and the pup instantly trotted closer to greet him with licks around his muzzle and chin. Soft whines and woofs came from him. Fear was overruled by excitement. His pale tail as wagging fast, in his excitement the pup playfully jumped up against the other's face, trying to reach one of his ears. Clearly the pup was not afraid of strangers, he never learned to be. "Paaaaay!" he cried out followed by a giggle.
