Located at the base of the keep. :)
Once he struck the brackish water where the river met the sea, Dragon stopped, his white toes flexing into the frost that had dusted the beach that morning. His scrutinizing gaze stretched long down the shore, tracing its jagged edge until swept into the sea at the horizon. Hmmm. He exhaled, his chilled breath wreathing around his nose. He turned his head, and glanced down the river.
It did not hook back toward the sea as the last river had; it snaked straight for the inland. A rogue wave stole his attention, crashing onto the shore and rolling further than the relaxed laps before it and backwashing the river. Dragon shrugged. He stepped off and headed toward the forest, at ease as if taking his cues from random acts of nature was a common theme in his life.
He did not get far before the scent of pack markers drifted past his nose. "Skinny rats and dead fish!" Dragon cursed. Traipsing along the gunwales of someone else's ship was not his preferred travel route, but he was born of a stubbornness, and a recklessness, despite his survivalist raising. I ain't going around all them mountains.
So, he tucked himself as far from the borders as he could without taking the long way, and continued on beneath the piercing stare and squawking from above him.
After the past few days of constantly on the move with little sleep to reconcile her muscles, she felt as though she might just pass out onto the frosty ground. Her body ached, but it was a sensation she was slowly getting used too, having felt such a way the past few months. Her paws stung and hurt with every step, and if wind blew in her direction carrying a chill she would witness another freezing hell.
The smell of another was masked by the close territory, she considered stepping in and begging for a place to stay, but the wolfess would never stoop so low -- ever. Every exhale created an illusion of smoke before her, for a second she imagined herself a dragon.
It wasnt until a voice was carried over, one seemingly annoyed, a male. Her ears lifted up, and she instantly altered her posture to accentuate whatever feminine features she could, perhaps she could flatter her way into a place to stay for the night. She walked with a provocative gait, her eyes filled with a counterfeit of lust despite not even seeing the potential victim. "Helloo?" She decided to use the damsel in distress tone of voice. "Is anyone there?"

In between the shrieking of the falcons he caught a "Helloo?". He paused his steps, cocking an ear toward the voice as it followed up with "Is anyone there?" For a moment he considered his interest in answering, when he could just keep going and pretend that no, there was no one there. Boredom won out, after all most of his time was spent foraging on his own, so he answered back.
"Hellooooo," he drawled, mimicking her feminine tones in a convincing fashion. Had she been in front of him, he might have straightened out his posture, given her some pretty winks and gently pawed at the air, too.

Emory's ears flicked up at the noise, her nose twitched searching for the direction of the scent. It didn't smell like a female, but whether or not it was she couldn't care less. Men, women, all were on the vixen's list. She sneaked forward through the sand and finally spotted a rather dark, masculine looking creature. She raised an eyebrow, it was always easier to flirt when they were actually attractive.
Her hips swayed side to side before plopping her haunches down onto the tiny rocks below her. The wolfess' head tilted to the left, as if she was seemingly interested in the wolf before her. "What are you doing, wandering around alone in the winter?"

He watched her come, hips swaying and head tilting, and his features wound into an oh boy. expression. Not the oh boy! of an excited young boy who just had a mouthwatering cake brought out to the table in front of him, but the sarcastic oh boy of someone who had seen the cake before and was not impressed the first time, and thus, was not excited for it the second time.
Siren.
She did not greet him as she sank her cute little ass into the snow. Instead, she questioned him. One ear was pinned forward and the other flicked back as he gave his tail an annoyed twitch, pursing his lips and staring for a moment before he decided to answer.
"Yeah."
Yeah, he was wandering around alone in the winter. Emphasis on alone. Though he might not be intent on keeping it that way for much longer, he was certainly intent on keeping it now.

Hm, this one was more difficult to distract, per say. She liked that, a challenge. Also, the idea that a wolf finally had some control over his mind, versus instantly falling head over heals for a vixen such as herself. Either that or he was gay.
He didn't answer her question, which was strange, but she took it as an answer and didn't pry much. Emory lifted an imaginary eyebrow towards the brute, wondering if he could crack. "Hm, you're weird." She admitted.
And he was, he didn't leap to treat her like some irresitable wolfess, no he instead treated her with a sense of annoyance and distain, which was strangely interesting to her.

"What did you expect?" he snapped, the beginnings of a growl rumbling deep in his chest. He pinned both his ears back and briefly lifted his lips above his fangs. He knew her kind well; a she-wolf that thought she could lure him into trouble, or otherwise break his guard with her coquetry. The corsair would have none of it. Even as he kept his heated glare on her, his ears swivelled to listen to his surroundings, his nose constantly monitored the wind for an ambush.

She shrugged, an amused smirk presented on her muzzle. His tough personality didn't scare her too much. "I don't know...most wolves would be kissing my paws my now." Emory lifted one of her front legs to emphasize. "You didn't though, weird..." She repeated, tilting her head to the side with pure interest. A new situation was always welcomed, she was starting to get board of the same reaction when a wolf laid their eyes on her.

Dragon snorted, loud and mockingly. His eyes flicked to her paw momentarily. He was fully confident now that there was no ambush awaiting him, and that she did not possess such cleverness as to attempt to lure men to their deaths. She was simply delusional, and much too full of herself.
"Is that so?" He scoffed. "How about you bring that little paw closer?" He challenged, baring his wicked fangs. "I'll kiss it with my teeth."

Emory pulled her paw back and shook her head slowly. "Unfortunately I'm not into kinky stuff." She flashed him wry smile, her tail flicking back and forth-similar to a feline. The large brute didn't frighten her, at least not yet, and so she would have as much fun with him as she could before anything got too intimidating.

Unfortunately, she was not quite as empty-headed as he thought, and she in fact had enough brain matter in her skull to keep her distance, and stay out of reach of his teeth. Unlike most, he would not mock her cowardice; rather, he appreciated it, and understood it. He could not fault her for her sense, despite how irritating and loathsome he found her to be, and how much his jaws tingled with his desire to bite.
He was done here, and done with her. Dragon sucked his tongue, hauled in a deep, loud and rumbling breath through his nose, and then spat a glob of spit and snot in her direction. He spun then, flicking his tail in dismissal and hiking it above his hips, not out of dominance, but so that she could look squarely upon his asshole as he strolled away. He kept one ear turned back to listen for her; any attempt to follow or attack would be a waste of her time.

Omg i love him
Emory laughed, she giggled for a good while. New encounters were always enjoyable, but he was one hell of a hoot. She didn't chase after him, nor did she want to, the agouti wolf never played hard to get on the opposite side. "Byyyye." The girl chimed, before standing up and heading the opposite direction.
