@Flash :D
Jamie stood up from his sleeping spot under a tree. He's got to get a den soon, in the freezing winter. Maybe he should share with someone for now, like Flash. Jamie felt a smile spread across his face. Whenever he thought about the golden wolf, he would instantly be in a good mood. They were friends, and he was one of the first wolves Jamie had met when he just joined the pack. Jamie's tail wavered. He could go find Flash and they could hang out together. It was fun being around Flash and Crëyr. Crëyr hung out with Shadow most of the time, or just went out hunting. Jamie never really saw her around, but she was nice. He haven't gotten around to meeting everybody, but Jamie wasn't very social either in his old pack. since you posted it later i will assume this is after the osprey thread
The golden beta padded alone inside the territory, his head hung low as it always it after her. He silently paw at a patch of snow, his mind unfocused. Hitting a rock, he gave a oof as he rolled down a hill. Shaking snow off his fur, he backed up, fear clinging onto him from an unknown reason. He backed into a tree whirling around. Staring at the bark, he sighed.
She's gone, Flash. Get you head back into the game.
He padded quietly towards the borders. Suddenly, an unfamiliar scent floated over to him, most likely some hare or some prey. But in his confused mind, the scent somehow changed to hers. He perked up, before backing up more, bumping into the same tree. He gave a nervous woof, startling a rabbit, the scent sourced. He scented more of her scent as it rushed past him.
Horror swelled up in him. She was here? His horror filled mind and distracted brain freaked out. Osprey was not there, obviously. But something in his mind said that she was. Fear bolted through him, and he turned around and fled. Stupid. He knew he was. A coward. He was one. He bolted through the land and crashed into a wolf, before reality finally slapped him in the face.
Osprey.Was.Not.There.

Jamie sniffed the air and Flash's scent wavered over. Flash was heading his way? Jamie glanced around him and turned around to see if the golden beta was behind him. Then something crashed into Jamie and it reeked of Flash. Jamie abruptly turned around and it was indeed Flash. He gave a small grin and greeted the usually bright wolf. "Hi Flash." Jamie studied Flash's handsome features and noticed he looked less... well. He seemed to be a mixture of sad, angry nervous and tired. "Flash, are you alright? You can tell me what's wrong and I can try to help you." Jamie stood next to his friend and brushed his cheek against his friend's. Back in his old pack, brushing cheeks briefly was a sign of friendship and comfort, but then again, it might have been inappropriate here. The very brief brush sent a warm fuzzy feeling all around his body, but Jamie pushed the thought aside. He had to help his friend with his trouble.

Flash whirled around, realising the wolf he had bumped into was Jamie. The golden beta winced lightly at how happy the brown male was being. "Flash, are you alright? You can tell me what's wrong and I can try to help you." Within a moment, Jamie could already see his distress. Was it that obvious? How was he suppose to serve the pack if he kept acting like that.
"I scented her. Jamie, I scented her. " The words came tumbling out of his mouth like rocks tumbling down a slope. "God damn her. Actually no. God bless her." He continued, collasping lightly. "I miss her so god damn much." He groaned, thrashing around before calmness rushed over him. He had to stop. This was getting too far. "Pretend I didn't say anything. You're not supposed to know." Flash muttered.
Jamie proceed to press his cheek against his. Immediately, Flash flinched away from the affection. That slightest hint of affection bought back memories crashing down on him. Her scent, her fur. Everything about her. Flash backed up away from Jamie, hissing lightly. "Do.Not.Show.Affection.To.Me.In.Any.Way." He growled lightly.Crouching down in an attacking position, he remembered his job. He stood back up. "Oh gods. I'm sorry." He said, in fear he had lot his friend.

Jamie looked away as sadness and hurt took over his eyes. Flash basically rejected his friendship and it hurt him. Jamie wanted to turn and run, to escape and pretend this never happened, but that was not the right thing to do. He looked back at his friend. Flash was a huge mess of emotions right now and this is when a true friend would step in to help, not run away. Jamie put a small smile back on his face. "Flash, I understand you are under distress. I understand that you are confused sad and angry. But I can't help you deal with this problem if you don't tell me what's wrong. Now take a deep breath, sit down next to me and tell your friend what's the problem." Jamie said gently, reassuring his friend. He sat down on the ground and looked at his golden friend. Flash was not the one to become such a mess over something little, so this might be a big thing. It seemed to have something to do with a female, perhaps Crëyr? No, why would Flash miss her? Jamie wasn't good with females and never had a mate. He was close to his mother, but not with the other females of his old pack. Jamie shook the thoughts away, because no matter what the problem was, he had to help his closest friend.

He was a confusing mess. A mess that was torn between reality and hope. He sat down, just soaking in the cold of the snow beneath him, enjoying the winds Septentrio had bought to Noctisardor Bypass. At least, he did before Jamie's words came. "Flash, I understand you are under distress. I understand that you are confused sad and angry. But I can't help you deal with this problem if you don't tell me what's wrong. Now take a deep breath, sit down next to me and tell your friend what's the problem."
Somehow, those words, which was suppose to comfort him, sparked a rage in him. He thought he could help? Was Flash actually suppose to believe that pathetic comfort? Was he suppose to just give up and spill his heart to a wolf he had met no more than once? No. He wasn't going to do that. He hadn't even confided with his beat friend yet, one wh he would call a brother. And he was suppose to spill his secrets to one who he stills called a stranger? Give him a N, a E, a V, a E and a R. What does that spell? Never. Nope, that ain't happening.
He rose, ready to leave, not wanting to lose a possible friend over something so stupid. But that was before Jamie sat down and looked at him expectantly. He wasn't actually expecting Flash to tell him was he? He obviously was, and this only sent another bolt of unfair rage in him. Who did this hunk of flesh think he was? Flash had his private life, if he didn't want to tell, he didn't. he had obviously pointed out it wasn't something he wanted to talk about before.
He whirled around, his eyes cold and hard as Septentrio's winds. "I said I don't want to talk about it. What right do you have prodding my private life. I said, forget it. I haven't even told Shadow, and he is my closest friend. This is only our second time meeting, I do not tell my secrets to those who I don't know if I can trust them. " He growled, anger radiating from him. It may seem unfair, as Jamie was probably doing what a friend would do, but Flash was sick of his questions. "Bloody hell, I don't even know your last name." He hissed, ready to stalk away.

Jamie rose up. He twisted his face into a snarl and glared at Flash. Oh, so his high and mighty pain in the flank have decided to turn away someone who actually cares about him and is trying to help. Jamie took a step forward. He was about to attack Flash when he paused. Flash was currently a mess and didn't know what he was saying. Yes, that must be it. Jamie smoothed his snarl back into an expressionless mask and softened his glare. "If you want to turn away someone who cares about you and is trying to help, then fine. Have your alone time and calm down your head." Jamie gave Flash another brief look with his softened eyes and tone. It would be horrible to lose Flash, even though it was true that they just met. Stupid, stupid Jamie. He had no idea how Flash was like, and how to comfort him. Like he said, they had just barely met and he didn't trust him. It tore a little piece of Jamie's heart to possibly lose his friend. Jamie curled his mouth into a small frown. He turned around and began to walk away when he stopped, turned his head slightly to leave some words with Flash. "It's Glade." Then Jamie left the golden wolf alone in the cold winds of winter.

Rage bolted through Flash as he dropped down onto a stance, ready to leap onto the brown wolf and tear at Jamie's throat. The other male's face was twisted with rage, only urging Flash on. What right did he have to be angry? Jamie was prodding into the beta's private life, it only made sense to defend himself. The brown male had no right to be angry. Flash should be leaping at him, tearing out his throat.
But he was still the beta of the pack.
Betas don't lash out of packmates. The golden beta calmed down, his face softened and his brain started whirling again. "If you want to turn away someone who cares about you and is trying to help, then fine. Have your alone time and calm down your head." Somehow this enraged the beta once more, and he felt that he had to hurt Jamie in some way. "You might care about me. But I certainly don't care about you. If I see you slacking around, I will not hesitate to report you." He muttered darkly.
Flash didn't even care now. "Some respect would be nice too. I'm still your beta. If you don't like that. Get out." He growled, turning around and lashing his tail straight at the other male's face. He took a few steps, and heard the male spoke something. His last name. Whatever. "Well Glade, let's hope I don't catch you slacking off then." He called out, watching the other male disappear deeper into the territory. Growling, he stood there for a moment longer, before turning around and heading in the opposite direction, rage still pulsing underneath him.

last post?
Jamie turned his head to see Flash running off to the distance. He sighed under his breath and sat back down after Flash was out of sight. Jamie had already made friends and found a place where he belonged in Noctisardor Bypass. He had grown attached, and he wouldn't leave because of one wolf. Jamie was not sure about Flash or what he was going to do about him, but he was sure that he wouldn't leave his home or friends anytime soon. Betas were supposed to be caring to their pack mates, but then again, Jamie was at fault too. He should not have provoked Flash. Jamie sighed again and got back up. There were things he had to do, like help stock the cache or border patrol. He went off to the hunting meadow, hoping to catch something to get his mind off Flash. That stupid piece of crap. The ground underneath his feet felt rough and dry, the sky seemed dark and cloudy. Who the hell did he think he was? The air was dusty and dirty. The water was polluted and horrible. What right did he had to question me? Flash was beyond angry, at a point of rage he had never been before. Anger radiated off him, thankfully nobody else came to him, or he might have attacked them. Everything around him seemed stupid and worthless, his vision was red.
In his rage, he walked back to his den, curling up. He let out a growl, frustration prickling at his fur as he could just howl and let his anger out. He rose, before also leaping into the creek, letting the water cool him down. Silently, He sat in the middle on the creek, words burning in his mind. I keep going to the river to pray, cause I need something to wash all the pain. And at most, I'm sleeping all these demons away, but your ghost, the ghost of you...it keeps me awake.
