Burke was mildly surprised by the female's reaction but that was normal for him when he was with her, wasn't it? The male grabbed the raccoon and laid down by her, starting to eat the fresh meal. Fine if she didn't want it he would eat it himself. The masked male's coat matched with the one of the raccoon. Burke settled into the critter and made sure to strip it fully. He wondered what was going on through the female's head. She didn't look gleeful like the ladies looked when being in his pack. For now it looked like she didn't want the babies. Burke chewed on the meat, eating it happily. He kept glancing at her. He was always wondering with her.

"You don't look so happy," he pointed out. He probably knew why. For Burke it was still quite a shock that she was carrying. "Do you want to continue with our story?," Burke offered. He wanted to ask so many personal questions. Who was the father? Was this her pack? If yes, why was she outside the border. Would she still be accepted in her pack?
