Bazi's head wobbled uncertainly as she raised it. She squinted at him, and slowly reclaimed enough control over her own body to sit up on her elbows. "I've never felt so awful," she grumbled weakly, sucking a potent mixture of snot and vomit into the back of her throat. It burned her nose and throat, threatening to trigger a second round of heaving. Bazi shut her eyes tightly and waited - one, two, three. The urge retreated. "Nobody told me it was going to be like this. And you can't even see anything yet." The Alpha turned to look at her flat, trim sides, then suddenly up at Kieran again with wide, fearful eyes.
