The Alpha watched Crete go, adding in a huff of frustration. Was he fucking stupid? She would allow inferences when they were requested, but Crete should know that defying or criticizing an Alpha was forbidden. Maybe his old pack was different, but just like her, he needed to learn. Though he was mute, he was mouthy and opinionated, which was fine, but not when it came to her leadership. Hell, Ariston joked many times and it did not bother her. If Crete had said things in a more gentle manner, maybe she would have listened, but the way he presented himself was too direct and pissed Hawkeye off.
