With all four of them settling down, Fox began to settle as well. In no time, the whole den was a pile of puppies and their overwrought mother snoozing the afternoon away. Fox was ever-so-thankful for the break, even if she expected it to be a short one. Hopefully, as they grew and became more independent, she'd feel better about them... but right now, she often wanted to ring their little necks.
