Saena thought Tytonidae was weird, simply put, but she would care if she learned her sister had died. She was relieved, in a way, that the dusky weirdo had somewhere to stay and wasn't out in the world starving and freezing to death. She might not care to see her, but Saena cared in some little way, which was greatly dampened by her last and most significant memory of Ty.

"When your family walks out on you one by one by one, it's hard for them to matter anymore. The last thing Ty said when she left was that she hated me, and this on the heels of both our parents walking out on us," Saena revealed, certain that Summer had probably heard some biased or otherwise untrue account of it, "so no, I don't care the way you probably want me to, because if I did, the number who have left would break me apart. I'm glad she's not dead, but it's not like a reunion is imminent. We weren't close anyway."
