The attack caught her unawares, but Osha was no push-over. No sooner than the wolf had knocked her over did the vast pig twist her fat neck around to gore at her attacker with sharp tusks, squealing angrily all the while. By the time Bazi arrived on the scene, the intruder had wrestled her way out of Blue's grip and adopted a defensive position. Sweat and blood stuck down the hog's wiry hair, and the whites of her angry eyes were visible.

"What's going on h--" Bazi began, features sharpening into a snarl. But before she could say anything else, Osha let out an ear-piercing shriek and barrelled at the still somewhat bleary-eyed Arctic wolf.
