Bazi looked on wearily as Relonikiv sorted out the masses of information she had just dumped on his young head. Was this how she would tell her own children about the birds and the bees? ...probably. For all its inelegance, Bazi's homespun method of conducting Sex Education left little to the imagination. Penis, second butt, puppies. Relonikiv could work out the specifics in his own time, with his own lady friend. Given his history, Bazi doubted it would be long before the whelp began to test the water in that department. Ideally it wouldn't be with her.

But for now, Relonikiv seemed to have had his fill of the subject. Bazi responded to his request with a bob of her head and a relieved "Sure, sweetie. Let's snuggle." The nausea seemed to be on break, but its working day was far from over. Bazi banked on a couple of hours before it returned for seconds. With that fact weighing on her shoulders, Bazi sloped off in the direction of the warm pile of bodies that represented their combined family. She gave Relonikiv's gold-spun ruff a gentle nip as she passed him, smiling fondly down at the boy's fuzzy head. No matter how many children of her own Bazi squeezed into the world, there would always be a place in her heart reserved exclusively for the sweet little boy with a lisp.
