  She hummed the song to herself as she camouflaged with her surroundings.

  A song had always calmed her when worried or angered

  She hummed in a soft, smooth tone, singing the lyrics to herself. Eyes closed and paws moving slowly through the wood.

 were lights won't chase us.

 She sang the melody in her head over and over, memorizing the beat. She had learned many songs, but this one was her favorite. Her old Beta had always sung it to her. She was like a sister to her. To be honest, she took care of the once innocent pup more than her mother ever could. They always goofed off and got into any trouble they could find. Sometimes the dark star missed her "sister" terribly.


  Her paws had instinctively carried her to the bed of blood red roses. This was her favorite place to spend her time. The velvet blossoms always seemed appealing to her. She walked through the bedding and lay down, falling asleep.
