Ouroboros Spine for centuries kingdoms have risen

After the rain that had come through the day and night, the next morning brought scattered sunlight into the picture. Once more Echelon had thrust herself into the fray of the Spine, moving swiftly and steadily to suss out the wolves that lived within. Her foray to the borders had turned up nothing in particular; the relative seclusion of the Spine was proving to work in their benefit for now. Their leader of before had not come back demanding her paper crown. This she considered a good thing, because it meant that their progressing takeover of the pack would go quietly. Fanfare, though she enjoyed a little bit of it, was not something particularly necessary to their success. And it was success that Echelon hoped for, as their stay there had yet to be entirely challenged.

With those things behind her, her mindset had become purposeful. She sought out Ivev, who had run with them long before a series of events had left them all scattered and broken. Events that had left Echelon on her own for what had seemed half a lifetime. But all of that now did not matter, the past did not matter much to her barring this one wolf who had pledged themselves to Tartok. And as she moved to find her, scenting upon old trails that were worn in, there were burning questions that came to her mind with haste. Above these was the question of whether or not Ivev was still apart of them, or if she needed to be removed from the lands altogether.

Whether or not she was found today, Echelon could not determine.

Nor would she summon her; there was no fun in that.
