When she came and gave a gesture of respect, he was both surprised and touched to recieve it.  "I will," he responded, feeling as though Lasher's words summed it up pretty well.  Despite the fact that he felt she was making the right call, he wasn't happy to lose yet another core member to other ambitions. Giving her cheek a nudge, he too watched her go.

He could feel Lasher's eyes on him, and he turned to give a small smile of agreement at his words. He was right, she would do well. He knew the blame for her departure rested for the most part solely on his shoulders, and Blue Willow's sorrow increased his own that a compromise wouldn't have worked. She needed to find her own happiness. He gave a comforting touch to Blue, then left without many words, wanting some time after this encounter to think.
