Blacktail Deer Plateau don't say a word

This was sooo not going to work, but he wasn't about to say that. Suddenly he was regretting his choice in hiding spot, the branches prodding him rather uncomfortably as he shoved himself further beneath a bush that was much, much too small for his bulk. He was careful of his healing injuries, but still got a few good prods that left him stinging pretty well.

Still, good-naturedly, he attempted to oblige and with a little determination, he rolled up tightly, scooting beneath the branches and pulling his tail in tight. It was a near thing, and he wondered if it would be close enough for his new master's expert eye.

"Ready," he said before he remembered that he was, in fact, supposed to be keeping still and quiet. He then shut both eyes, opening one slightly after a moment to peek at her and awaiting her adorable, inevitable commentary on his improvement.
