Although Burke answered Cicero's question, he did not grasp the exact context that Cicero was going for. He kept referring to family and the person you love as different wolves. Perhaps he had already forgotten that he had said that romantic love could change a person; it was almost a direct quote from what Burke had said that had led to what Cicero said. Perhaps it was because he wanted to be able to say he meant it differently if Burke understood the context he was angling for; or perhaps he just wanted to make Burke figure the puzzle out himself instead of telling everything as it were.

Cicero looked around the peaceful forest while he considered his next question carefully. "Can't it be both?" Cicero asked casually, his voice neutral and calm as he looked back up at Burke. He made such a clear division between romantic love and family love that Cicero was curious whether it was really deviate, in the eyes of the masses, the normals, to love one's family in a romantic sort of way. Whether or not Burke assumed Cicero himself held such interest did not worry Cicero much.
