It was still unclear to Burke why this form of love was so taboo, although he decided not to mention it further. It would only push the wrong sort of buttons. It was good that Cicero now knew, though; it was always good to know when others might disapprove of something. The reasoning was flawed, of course; you could not disapprove of something simply because you did not feel the same. Perhaps it was best feelings were pushed back, regardless, for love was confusing and entangling and it was likely that the object of Cicero's affections would feel the same. They were still young. It would take time for life to develop Cicero's way. Perhaps he would one day get what he desired, and perhaps not.

Upon Burke's explanation, Cicero grinned a lopsided grin. "Cicero knows what Burke means." Cicero decided to keep anything further to himself for now. Burke would likely only try to change his mind or lecture him, and Cicero was not waiting for a lecture at the moment.

"Let's look at the rest of the territory. Did Burke come here before?" Cicero looked at Burke with curosity, swapping the subject to a more light-hearted one. Burke did not seem to enjoy talking of love, especially forbidden love, that much, and Cicero was eager to learn as much of the pack's surrounding territories as he could, anyway.
