They made their way to the hollow in silence, Tomahawk leading the way. It was still possible—but hopefully less likely—that her masters would and could find her here. The two coyotes stopped, and the other made no move. "Well?" she asked, frustrated, "Let's get this over with." There would be no romance here. No whispering in one another's ears. No gentle embraces. Tomahawk stood, tail hinged to the side, and looked back at the coyote.
