Nishu was there to protect her, so he needed some way of doing so. "The packs may think it strange of you to be a ways from me, but you could stay within eye sight." She wagged her tail, believing that it was a good idea. "Or even if you hid your presence and just kept a watchful eye close by." 

She nodded her head forward saying, "Speaking of, we are almost to the boarders. What do you want to do, Nishu? I'll leave it up to you."
