She had had enough. The Omega was good for nothing, and had yet to carry her weight and prove anything beyond being obnoxious and otherwise useless. As the other went to run, Tonravik blocked the other in lurching in her direction, the large weight of the woman enough to stop Syn in her tracks and retard her movement. In that instant, the alpha female did not go for the lolling tongue, but instead the throat. The alpha female felt fangs connect to esophagus, and her strike was as quick as it was true. She could feel it rupture, and even as Syn crumpled beneath her, Tonravik tore away with the esophagus claimed by her sharp teeth. Blood flowed freely, and the woman snarled past the object in her mouth down at the dead wolf.

The other had not abided by her law. Tonravik had told her there would be a price to pay, and the other had known from the start the price was her life. Tonravik threw her head up and howled to inform the pack of what had occurred this day: one has disobeyed me, and they have died. Eloquently put. Given that Syn was on the borders, she would leave her to the scavengers... and kill them, too, once the Omega was nothing but scraps. The leader looked to Ivitaruk, who was unflinching throughout, and together they moved onward.
