Blackfeather Woods forgive me

He never strayed far from the den. Only leaving when needing to hunt. Now he was carrying a fox back to Lusa when he heard her growl. A growl rang from his own throat in response. He dashed through the trees to the entrance of the den. His little killer was facing a wolf he hadn't seen before. Red fur fell in a heap from Grim's maw as he lunged at the stranger. Jaws wide, he aimed to knock down the threat and hold it to the ground. 

The question of whether or not this may be a pack mate never crossed his mind. This stranger was an idiot for being near his mate and their pups. Whoever this was would get a taste of Grim's overprotective nature. Next time perhaps this wolf would think twice about coming so close to the den
