Blackfoot Forest Step by Step

Sebastian was a bit out of it all, just keeping to the regular rhythm of walking and trying to keep that pace. That was the most important thing to do now. Sebastian grunted with each step, more out of pain than out of tiredness. Though he might wish for a break. "Yes, break," he agreed. "Mountains by night a dangerous so it is walking at a good pace or spending the night on this side," he returned. Sebastian would like to try to get over the mountains or at least the top before nightfall, maybe they would find a nice cave that could shelter them from cold and winds. It was summer but Sebastian wasn't trusting those mountains. 

Once they reached a stream Sebastian eagerly started drinking, and laying down too, in the stream. Hopefully his pad would wash clean. "Thank you again. You are too kind. You know, if you want shelter, you could stay at my pack," he offered. But maybe she was a girl who liked freedom and after what happened to him she might not be inclined to join the caldera. They weren't the most popular pack around, at least not anymore. He didn't know much about the Caldera's neighbors other than that one was the pack of his father... The one he still needed to face. But that wouldn't happen now, if his father was really mad then he wouldn't stand a chance.
