Blackfeather Woods forgive me

He had managed to snag the stranger who had stood in front of his lovers den. She now lay on the ground between his jaws. The tip of her ear brushed his face as it flattened against her head. Grim growled when she voiced her reasons for being there. She seemed calm to him. That made him furious. Lusa replied to her in turn with words of caution. Pride pricked at his center. They were a team. Even the smallest situations pulled them closer together. He gazed at her with pure love and adoration. 

It wasn't long before another wolf joined them. This new one spouted words of nonsense. Grim didn't catch a word of it. The meaning lost to his mind. It bothered him that now another strange wolf stood before his mate. He believed Lusa could take care of this one herself if need be. But he still didn't like that he couldn't deal with them both. He would have to make sure the one he was holding couldn't do anything before moving onto the other. That meant breaking a limb or providing a wound severe enough to keep her from moving.
