Shego approached, said blessed trinket in her jaws. Lakhesis twisted awkwardly in the brute's grasp, head turning and pale eyes staring unblinkingly at her sister and listening as she spoke, glad she had made an appearance. Her heart hammered in her chest, wanting nothing more than to be out from under the man. As a creature who relied on wits and magic, she wasn't one for physical confrontations, much less so when she did not have the upper hand.

The male didn't seem to heed her sister's words, instead he tightened his grip and Lakhesis growled again in retaliation, squirming before laying still once more. "Let me go, and Lakhesis will ignore your mistake," she hissed into his ear, loud enough only for he to hear. It was a promise the Fate would make good on, so long as he obeyed. A grave mistake, to harm one of the vessels.

She fell silent as Shego explained the purpose of the amulet, of their blessing. She had wanted to see the pups, only a glimpse, but it seemed the parents were more protective than she thought. Hopefully the trinket would bring their sister to them, in time, if she was within one of the newborns. The girl awaited what the mother would say, eyes locking onto the underside of the man's chin, praying for her to be a spiritual one.
