He felt teeth close on his tail. Finally, he had gone too far for the dark man, and too far for the flecked boy as well. His tail stung with the bite but he did not but turn to face his 'second victim', straight faced, as the the first made a sharp comment before leaving. Success. One down, one to go. With a strong jerk he plucked his tail from the teeth that held it, leaving behind some strands of fur.

"I am," he said levelly, his eyes fixed on the other's. "I don't mind taking what I want, either." He took a pace forward, resolute in his mission, with his body and countenance firmly showing it. The other man must leave, for he would not, and if the other was so foolish as to attack, he'd make sure that when he had the chance, he would, indeed, take.
