Floki's paws were just centimeters from the edge of the lake when he heard a voice call out behind him, addressing him by name. He stopped, ears perking and head swiveling back. His gaze landed on Ragna, and immediately his tail began to sway. "Hi, Ragna!" he chirped, happy to see that his sister was out adventuring too. The waterfall continued to rumble, drawing his attention once more, and he opened his mouth to ask her if she wanted to try to climb up to the top -- but was interrupted.

Thistle Cloud appeared from the underbrush, her brows knit together not in anger but in concern. While Jorunn might've taken their mother's approach as a cue to race away and try and scramble up the rocks, Floki reacted by lowering his head and tucking his tail between his hind legs. Its tip wiggled in an appeasing manner as he looked up at Thistle.

"Hi, Mama," he said as she closed the gap between herself and her offspring. "We're bein' careful," he assured her, although his words likely wouldn't do much to put her mind at ease.
