If he was naive to her presence earlier, he couldn't fail to notice when she addressed him directly. He was surprised to see one so young unaccompanied, but it wasn't unheard of. He was too far away to catch the Caldera scent, and the air was thick with rain and broken earth.

If this place had a name, he did not know it. But that did not mean he did not know where he was. "That depends, I think, on where you want to go." He looked at her curiously, but was not unfriendly. He hadn't been in a particularly good spot of late but that didn't mean he was going to verbally abuse strange adolescents.

"I do not know what this place is called. But I know the area, somewhat." He clarified, glancing down the river. He had been through once or twice, but once he visited an area, it tended to stick. His sense of direction was fairly solid, if his eye for detail a little lacking.
