The crash of lightning setting the trees aflame caught her off guard, and made her fur stand on end as she whirled to face their home. Shock rippled through her as the fire reflected in her eyes, engulfing their home. She knew then that the Spine was no more, but they would regroup later. To do so, they needed to leave. Now.
