Kisu hesitated when Hawkeye nodded, seemingly speechless, and then Pied cut in. He was comfortable with the choice that Peregrine had made, but it seemed as if Hawkeye was not.

Where Pied moved forward to touch the two, Kisu stayed put. He felt like a fourth wheel, for they were all close to one another, him only knowing Pied.

I am sure that no trouble will come from Akhlut, though he did mention before that there was only a pact to keep members of your pack from entering the territory; basically, he was only thinking of himself in the process, and not creating bonds. I am not sure if that information is of any use to you, but I thought I should disclose it anyway." Akhlut left a bad taste in Kisu's mouth. The boy was young and too confident in himself.
