Set before Meldresi's Return. @Ayana

Burke had moved through the forest to check the damage of the storm. It wasn't bad enough for them to move. Burke was pretty attached to the dark forest so he was very willing to leave it behind. Plus if Meldresi would return she would not come home to a pack but to empty lands. No, he wouldn't want that. Burke tried to focus on his new plan instead of Meldresi being away. He was pleased with Cyn's progress and after rewarding her with a private lesson Burke decided that today it was Ayana's turn. 

He stood in the middle of Red Grove. The red bushes were usually the resting place for all the ravens and crows but after the storm they had yet to return to this place. Now it was somewhat a clearing. There were lesser trees around the red bushes but still there were some trees. He howled for Ayana to come to him. Today he would give her a special training. Talk her through how to get inside another pack and maybe give her a lesson in reading body language, watch for the signs of distrust.
