He gave a sheepish grin as Lusa scolded him softly. "Sorry," he muttered. He glanced only briefly at the white pup. She had snuggled in with her brothers. Grim narrowed his eyes slightly. Why did they have to have a white pup? He longed for that pup to have been black like her mother. But there was nothing they could do. It was not up to them to choose how their pups would turn out.

Lusa mentioned something about food, causing Grim to stand. "I will fetch you some, my little killer." He watched as she feel asleep, nuzzling her before turning to go search for food. He hoped that prey would turn up quickly. It would be nice if he was able to lay down and take a nap with Lusa after a successful hunt. Maybe she would still be asleep when he got back, even if it took him a while to find something.
