Azzaro heard his companion sigh nervously, and made to nuzzle him gently as if trying to reassure the boy that nothing terrible was going to happen yet. His words seemed to have snapped Zoratto out of his reverie and soon the ivory eyed Dotharan felt a wet nose on his ear, and then a warm, rough tongue licking at his fur. Azzaro's own tail wagged in silent encouragement, and he blinked warmly at the youth, a small smile spreading across his hardened features.

When Zoratto pressed his face to the dark furred Dotharan's shoulder, Azzaro rested his chin gently on the boy's head and breathed out softly for a moment before he reluctantly withdrew from his companion's touch, "We can't stay too long in the plains. No cover," he explained softly. "But..do you want to hunt with me?"
