Ayana breathed in the cold air. She was haf sad, half excited to leave Blackfeather so soon. But she could come back, couldn't she? Burke informed her about the next steps and Ayana nodded. She was so thankful for his training, he really seemed to care about her and the mission and Ayana would surely try her best to succeed. "Thank you, Burke. For everything.", Ayana said and the grey wolf left. Soon he had fully disappeared behind the bushes and blended in with the shadows. Ayana was alone.
She looked around the forest and smiled. This was her home, she could feel it. And when she went on her mission, she would definitely miss the dark woods. Sometimes it was like the trees spoke to her and listened to her thoughts. They accepted her for who she was and they did not care about her past. Here she was herself. Here was her home. And she would do everything for this pack, even if that meant leaving home.
