fight this war without weapons

An ear flicked in the direction of the voice, and glancing sharply up, the swarthy female caught glance of a male.. his head down and walking.. as if he was not upon their borders. Her lips curled back in a silent snarl, and she did not hesitate to quicken her pace, closing the distance between them.
 
Her approach would not have been so vicious had he looked like any polite or intrigued wanderer. Those that wished to speak with the pack usually remained in one spot – submissive, and patient. This fellow.. he moved with an entirely different purpose, and as she moved closer, her snarl would rumble even deeper. She chose not to speak – instead, Vega’s jaws aimed to the male’s haunches, hoping to deliver a brusque snap of her teeth with the intent to grip and rip flesh.
