The golden female watched her fellow packmate do her business. Her sharp teeth were gliding into the wolve's flesh and his cries for help sounded distorted from the pain and if Ayana could, she would try to close up her ears to block the screams. It was weird, but something inside her made her reluctant to kill, and now it even made her feel horrendous about watching a wolf suffering like this. What if he was to deliver information about Lusa's missing pups? No, this was absurd. This wolf was not from here, he was a stranger, probably not even from Teekon Wilds. Still, something made her want to help this male. For goodness' sake, Ayana. Forget about him, he is just one in a million wolves that get killed every year. It is impossible. You have developed so many feelings it's disgusting.

Ayana was still staring at Nemesis when she stopped torturing the male. She wanted to leave him suffering, she said it was worse than killing him straight away. Ayana twiched a little when Nemesis spoke out these words. The dark female said this as if she talked about a deer she killed, but this was a wolf. He was an idividual and he had a soul. Leaving him there to bleed to death was cruel, and she did not expect Nemesis to be this way. It scared her. This girl is just like you. You're just scared because she is like the mirror of your soul. I know that deep inside of you you do not care one bit about that stranger. He is random, he means nothing, he IS nothing. Her mind was screaming and Ayana started to panick inside of her, while remaining perfectly calm on the outside. Nemesis was waiting for an answer. "Do whatever you want with him.", she said, looking away. She could not stand watching the male anymore, it was all too much. Especially because it was her fault. If she did not... Stop. Nemesis is hungry and you'll find her something to eat.

Finally, Ayana explained Nemesis where to find food around here. After the storm is was hard to hunt, but she knew a place where a lot of deers were hiding. The female explained to Nemesis that in only five minutes she would be able to hunt a deer and eat as much as she wanted. Something inside her made Ayana want to stay and take care of the male, but she was no healer and staying would just mean watching how the wolf died, which she did not want. So she waited for Nemesis reply. Whatever the female would do, Ayana would proably follow.
