On A Mission

Nemesis was satisfied to hear that there were still some deer left hiding, and that Ayana knew where they were. But the look in the girl's eyes after Nemesis turned to her was more frightening than she had ever imagined. Nemesis figured that after that little torture scene, Ayana would be at least a little disgusted. But when Nemesis looked into her eyes, it was like she was seeing pure..terror.    
It may have just been her, but it was like she had tormented Ayana too. Looking back, she stared at the bloody mess, the wolf's breathing had slowed dramatically.' Maybe you should just have ended it now, he didn't do anything to you' A voice, emerged from the darkness of her mind, spoke. 'He is a soul too, a-' No. She couldn't afford to think like that. It's what broke her in the first place. 

Turning her attention back to Ayana, gave the female a short look. "The damage is done, Ayana. That is the only way we survive", she said, indicating the male behind her, who was now just barely breathing. "End him if you want, it's your choice" She again spoke, challenging the female. She knew that Ayana would be reluctant to do do so, but she gave her the choice anyways, wanting to see how far she would go. "Meet me up ahead, we can find the deer from there" She said, noticing a small stream just ahead, where she could wash the grime from her muzzle before she ate. She would not have the blood of her victim on her food. That would be highly unsanitary.
