Though Crete himself may not be ignorant to the female in heat thing though she did not know this, Thistle herself was very new to it and was still not entirely sure what was going to happen when the time came. She figured she would be confused and a little wary, but at the same time she was looking forward to her growth into female adulthood.

It was slow going learning about the male mute standing before her, but she didn't care, she was more than willing to pass the day with him and their conversation as slow as it was going.
