Saena understood, perhaps too readily. Had it been anyone else except maybe Lasher or Blue Willow, she wouldn't have been welcoming of their presence in her home. If they were a stranger she certainly would've attacked. But Luke was another story. He was far from a stranger and was, in fact, among the closest wolves in Saena's life. When the pack was properly established he would be held to the same rules and standards as any wolf, but until then, she would not turn her fang on him if he passed over their threshold. She wasn't sure she could do it even if they were solidified.

But, of course, Saena was a wolf and so her nature would prevent that as well.

"Oh, Luke!" she exclaimed when he stated that he was finally settling down. While disappointed he hadn't come to live with them here, Saena was pleased. "I'm really happy for you!" And he was joining the north. Maybe he wouldn't stand for the aggression that existed between Redhawk Caldera and the forming Phoenix Maplewood, but that was far from her mind. She trusted he would stand with them in the final confrontation should it ever come. "Who's leading it? You?"
