 Farther and farther he traveled. He was lucky to scare off a fox away from its cache. Only one thing on his mind now: Pack. He could never survive long enough without one, he knew this. It wasn't important that there would most likely be a language block between them. Survival was the top priority for a wolf. They don't get anything they want served on a platter. They needed to work for it, and Durwin was hard at work catching fish.

 He stood over the creek, eyes watching for any movement in the depths. Hopefully there would be fish at this time of month? Certainly not. Instead there was a brown shape in the waters. Otter. He followed it for awhile until he leaped in the water, catching its neck inbetween his sharp teeth. It failed, and landed its own teeth in his shoulder. But he would not let go. He dug its face into the ground, and waited until the life drained from it.

 When it died, he lifted up and examined his shoulder. It stung like a bitch. It made him hiss with pain. "Animal prost!" He cursed before laying down and licking the wound.
