QIt was fortunate to have both swamps and a creek in or nearby the territory. They proved useful for both her garden and their food source. While Adelina enjoyed the deer and other four legged creatures she could feast on, today the woman had an unusual craving for fish. Knowing that there was a creek just outside the territory, the wolfess set off to test her luck in catching some of the aquatic animals. It took a few good minutes to reach the creek, but upon arrival she was found standing before a male, one who appeared injured.

While she was usually one to go out of her way and help a packmate, a stranger was a completely different story. The idea of helping the male never came to the woman's mind but instead her fur bristled and her lips pulled back to reveal her teeth. A growl rumbled within the female's chest as she watched the male lick his wound. He was to close to Blackfeather for her liking and as far as Adelina was concerned, he was only a threat. Perhaps if the pack would not have been completely full she would have approached the male with a more reasonable posture, but there was simply nothing here for him.

Her eyes narrowed at the male, and then flickered to the lifeless otter beside him. She knew well enough not to get between a wolf and it's meal and would have politely asked the male to move along, but today she was in no mood to have a civilized conversation. She approached him confidently, tail upright and slightly curled over her back it a display of dominance. Maybe, just maybe if the stranger played his cards right he could walk out of here with both his meal and his life.
