His nose slightly scrunched up at the smell. The scent was so familiar but he just couldn't remember where from, however that didn't surprise him. He could barely remember what happened yesterday, let alone months ago. The presence of another went completely unnoticed while his focus on the bush grew. It wasn't until the female drew closer did her scent finally reach him. He turned to face the fiery wolfess, fur slightly puffed at the sudden and unexpected company. However he relaxed when his senses finally came to him and he realized she was of the same pack as him.

"Hello" he said and allowed his mouth to open and tongue hang limp to the side. It didn't even occur to the male that he probably no longer smelt as a pack member after he had drenched himself in the mysterious bush scent.
