Instantly, the youngster flattened herself, her thin tail curling between her legs and her large ears pressing forward submissively. She made no other sound aside from her initial startled yelp. Reggie blinked rapidly, wondering at the motive for the attack. Perhaps there was none, besides Saena's obvious distaste for coyotes. She didn't know if groveling would satisfy the Alpha female. She would wait and see. If not, Regipre would make a run for it.
