As Citali and Reek split off, so too did the two females. An ear flickered at the huff Saena gave, turning her head to lick at Saena's chin in a quick movement before they slipped away, her paw steps light and almost silent. When the alpha went right, the only female veered and went left, hunkering down as she prowled her way into a good location to both hide and extract her self from.

Sure enough, when Reek and Citali spooked the creature, Nochtli followed Saena's lead and stayed crouched until the distance between predator and prey closed, and rapidly at that. Her muscles were tense, coiled, but as soon as Saena gave her signal, she was off like a bullet, sprinting to get her teeth close enough to make a grievous wound.
