He hadn't even realised that Zaria was too young for puppies - the concept had never arisen before. He had never tried, or felt the need to try, before he was able to be successful and when he had met Raissa she had been able to from the start. Or at least, from the moment they tried.

"You'd want to?" he asked, now fearing that she was more experienced. He had done the thing once and never felt compelled to do it again. "I must tell you. I don't really know what to do. The last time, and first time, produced these puppies and I never felt a desire to repeat the experience." It was kind of terrifying telling Zaria thing, FitzDutiful wondered if she'd think him less of a male because of it.

"When can you have pups?" he asked her, wondering once again how females knew this information and he did not. "I'd want to wait until these two are fully grown." He remembered how confused he had been about some of the aspects of females and their requirement to be in heat before it could happen. He remembered that scent and how it had driven him crazy - maybe that was why he had never done it again.
