He truly did, and everything in his body language showed it, but he doubted her words. He was doubting he could make a new family out of the wolves of Bearclaw. The alpha was gone, it was only a matter of time before there would be a hostile takeover or the group would disband, because Scarlett didn't seem to want to be alpha or lead. His heart was set on leaving , but to go where ? Which pack would accept someone like him anyway. "You.... mh....k...kind?" he tried the word after thinking hard about it.
