Northstar Vale change on the wind

OOC: Feel free to assume that Raheerah or Tenzin accepted her :3 She awoke to the morning with a restless feeling, not unlike the days before when her body felt the warmth of the change in weather. Truly, she was a creature built for the harshness of the cold, not the warmth of spring that drifted in quietly yet noticeably. Rising before the dawn, she had gone to the springs in the hopes of drenching her fur with the cooling waters before grooming, then took her time from there to pluck and pull the clumps of dead hair that made her winter coat. Once again, the woman made a horrid mess of herself instead of what outcome she had anticipated. And her ministrations had done nothing to ease the heat that crept under her skin. Resigning to the fact that her attempts had been futile, she surrendered to duty and began her patrols. Working first through the interior of the pines, she wove through their towering spires then branched out towards the mountain’s base, following the course of a quiet stream. And it was along this path that she came upon a scent only minutely familiar on the bark of a tree. Her ears swiveled forward as she released a short beckon, calling forth the wolf to make themselves known.
