Casmir cleared his throat, embarrassed by the older wolf's praise. "thanks, dude," he muttered, shaking out his ruff. a question came to mind, but he hesitated; he really didn't know Charon all that well, but the older boy had proven to be a good source of information. "do you have a girlfriend?" he blurted. he couldn't remember where he had heard the term before, or what it meant, really -- Eilidh was his friend, and she was a girl, so he supposed he did have a girlfriend. 

maybe he and Charon could compare notes. "it's hot in there," he pointed out. "i saw some berries on the way in. i'm gonna go check 'em out. you in?"
